¡Hola! Hello!

Sara grew up in Puerto Rico with her two siblings, parents, and a whole bunch of dogs (and other backyard animals). When Sara was younger, she wanted to be a vet, live near her family in Puerto Rico, and write stories. Now that she’s a little older, Sara still wants to spend her time with animals, live near her family in Puerto Rico, and write stories.

Sara earned her B.A. in English at Williams College and her J.D. at the University of Michigan School of Law. She currently lives in South Florida with her husband, their three young children, and Puerto Rican satita, Luna. She is a member of the SCBWI and Las Musas.

She’d love to speak with your classroom or community! Please reach out to connect.
